I took a shower this morning and found there was a shiny bubble just sitting there on top of the shampoo liquid inside the bottle.

:) I think I like my fluids class.

So now, dear readers, what made you smile (even a little) today?

Hope everyone's having a fantastic day, regardless of the weather.

I haven't really been keeping up with LJ. My apologies. However, I do hope that everyone's doing well and that life's been wonderful.

Saving you from an enormous picture that might ruin your f-list page.... )

"Now people can search for this listing from Facebook's Welcome page. In a few weeks, it may also be found through search engines like Google."

Borderline creepy...

but it's been 4 weeks since my last post (or so LJ told me). I thought I'd just drop by to say I'm still alive and that ONTD has not failed to brighten up my day yet.

Oh, and by the way, did anyone listen to the songs I posted? I'm just curious. If you did, what'd you think?

Have a good day/rest of the week now.

Spiderwick : Feb. 2008. Is anyone as excited as I am? Anyone? Anyone at all? I'm glad they casted Freddie as Simon/Jared Grace.

AND HELLO THERE. WHADDYA KNOW. Mr. Osment and his new movie.

Okay, enough about the movies.

There hasn't been too much going on. We finally have gas in the apartment, and Terri has been cooking. She makes good food. We had a "party" on Tuesday. I baked 2 boxed cakes (VERY, VERY BAD IDEA), and we have a lot of leftovers. Good news is, the leftovers are slowly disappearing, and the fridge is not as packed as it was on Tuesday night.

I haven't finished HP#7 yet (I know, I'm horrible!), but I am slowly getting there. I also went to see the fifth movie yesterday. I bet I'm the worst HP fan there is. I was quite satisfied with Luna and the whole Department of Mysteries set. I can't wait to see what they'll do in the next movie.

And now, I shall go back to staring at my homework. Have a good rest of the week, and thanks for reading.

I don't have a digital camera in my possession, so there will be no picture post.

We (Terri and I) moved into our apartment on Sunday. We have one TV at the corner of the living room. I sleep on an air bed and Terri sleeps on a futon. Good times ahead of us. We have many vegetables and fruits in the refrigerator. I know, we're so healthy it's sickening.

Summer classes started yesterday, and I just can't wait to be done with all of them already. I don't like a GE class that makes me work too much. Heeh. O-chem lab is good so far. I think my partners and I were the first ones out. We rock oh so much. But then again, we did take over 3 Mel-Temp apparatus. Hahaha. The TA is kind of crazy, too, as he was basically looking over two classes at the same time.

And now I will leave to go eat a Popsicle and work on my lab report.

Yeah, it was corny. Yeah, it was terrible. I had a great time, nevertheless. I laughed a lot (and so did most of the people in the theatre).

It also helped that they showed the trailers for Pirates 3 and Harry Potter 5 beforehand. Really.

After taking 3 midterms on Friday + catching a train right after my last midterm, I went to Disneyland on Saturday with *drumroll* 3 other FEMALE engineers. One of them is an M.E. Hehe. We had a fun talk about the physics of roller coasters, ways to make some of the rides better, imagineering, and a whole bunch of other geeky stuff.

I also stuffed myself with food. I really like the overpriced cotton candy they sell at Disneyland.

It's really too bad that today's Sunday, because that means I have to go back to homework and studying and all that fun school stuff.

Yeah, that's all. Have a wonderful day and thanks for reading. :)

UCD totally owned us in the AIChE conference.
At least we beat them in the creativity section.

1) Go to IMDB.com and look up 10 of your favorite movies.

CO2 --catalyst--> fuel?

"The researchers are now trying to bring their method even closer to photosynthesis. "The benzene reaction currently supplies the energy that splits the CO2," Goettmann says, "but in plants it is light." The new catalyst absorbs ultraviolet radiation, so the team is experimenting to see if light can provide the energy instead."

I can't wait to see future developments.
